Excellent product. Had some shipping damage and company responded immediately with a replacement.

Returned them. No central iron post. Looked as though they would blow over int he first storm.

This product is very well made and looks Great !! It is very simple to assemble and looks like it will stand the test of time.

Looks like real wood and never have to paint it.The last ornamental redwood pole I put in lasted 12 yrs here in Northern Vt. Completely rotten. at the base. I have a sawmill and used a tamarack pole for the inside.The bottom section of the new post has an interior flange that somewhat interferes with it laying against the pole and I cut a relief in the tanarack pole so the post rests solely against the wood interior pole. Love it and looks like the real McCoy.

This was put up just yesterday and really looks beautiful in front of our house. The installer followed the directions and was able to get it up with little problem. We cut 6 inches off as it was a little tall for the spot we had selected. It definitely meant our expectations.

Our electrician came to install the lamp post today, had to wait for ground to thaw. It is not a lamp post, but a lamp post cover. Added expense, the electrician went and bought a post and installed it, then put the "Sturbridge Lamp Post" COVER over it!!! No where in the description did this say it was a cover and a post was needed!!!

Looks just like wood until you touch it. Fairly easy assembly. Looks good.

It is the most beautiful addition to my home's exterior that I have made in a long time. I purchased a beautiful Light for it, and, my neighbors are complimenting me on.how Beautiful and different the lamppost and light are!

Plastic is loose at the base joints. Appears to be wobbly. Afraid of being blown over.

Arrived the day they said it would...in perfect condition...read the instructions.... ..looks like it won' t be a difficult job to install it...just need to wait till winter is over.....thank you

Love the way it looks.

It does look like real wood. However the quality control was just so-so. On two sides of my post, there were globs of colored hardened glue that I had to spend an hour to carefully scrape off with a putty knife. Also there was not enough adhesive to glue all the parts together.

Looks great and was easy to assemble and install ( but be aware that you need to get a 4*4).

This lamp post is gorgeous! It is so nice that it makes my house look shabby and now I'm going to have to paint the house.

Post well made and looks good straight and easy to install

I live on an island on the coast of Maine ,surrounded by salt water and air and the eight I baught six years ago look just as great as the three I lust installed last week. Great product ,and excellent service from Home Depot.

We purchased this to match our PVC fence and to replace a very old lamp post. I love it, it is just what I wanted. Good quality and it has an elegant look.

We tried the wood look vinyl post but appearance was very poor/faded looking. Bought this in the white and used an oil rubbed bronze colored paint/primer all in one. It is a very tall post and with the lamp fixture we bought it would be 90 inches. We cut 10 inches off post to suit our location/scale to house. The post painted very well, easy to saw off to shorten and glue pieces together. Really like end result. Wish I could share pic of finished product!

Instructions were easy to follow, which allowed for a trouble free installation. End results were outstanding, increased curb appeal to my home.
