That is not what we like to hear, Ryan! It sounds like our Varathane Oil-Based Polyurethane may have been applied too heavily. This product should be applied in thin, even coats, using a good quality, natural bristle brush or applicator pad. If pooling is able to occur on the working surface, the polyurethane is being applied too heavy. Bubbles forming in the finish is a good indicator that the polyurethane is being over-brushed, and this can happen from attempting to spread a thicker application of polyurethane over the working surface, which is not recommended. Please give us a call at 800-901-0411, we want to help you get this project finished up and looking great! - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
