I order 2 windows AC , work fine, one remote battery not working.

Brought 2 of these and one was fine and seems to work as it should so far, the other had a screw that was missed and obviously drilled into the fins in the back, so I ordered another with the intention of returning the bad one and the replacement had totally missed another screw on the frame and front panel because the styrofoam on inside didn’t line up right, so that one is going back too, if you order one be sure to throughly check it over when unpacking, I’m done trying to get a good one

I'm working on the workshop that needs to be cool in the summer and I've noticed window ACs have changed a lot in the last decade, they are way more efficient and lightweight and a lot easier to install!! This VISSANI 6000 BTU Air Conditioner is a perfect fit for the workshop, but the window was old, so this window AC is getting framed right in the wall, now eighter way, it's a breeze to install this AC!! This one is only 16 inches wide and 45lbs. and will fit any small window with the side flaps, directions are very easy to understand, and you'll have it installed in about 15 minutes, mine took a little framing and it fit just fine, I love the compact design, it has a remote and plugs into a standard 3 prong outlet, 3 speeds and lots of cooling options, front plate comes off to get to the filter, this is one cute little well-made, energy efficient workhorse that will cool any room in your house, or workshop very fast!!

Needed some extra air conditioning in a specific room and the Vissani 6000 BTU Window Air Conditioner fit the job! Unit has everything you need to install. More than adequate to cool the room. The Vissani 6,000 Btu window unit air conditioner is very powerful, but energy efficient drawing only 4.8 amps. This A/C will only cost an estimated $50 in energy costs to run for a year. The A/C runs very quietly, and when the setting is on low fan speed you can hardly hear it running (it's listed as only 51 decibels). The A/C unit is approximately 17" long (3.5" sticks out into the room), 16" wide, and 11.5" tall. The AC is rated for rooms sized up to 250 square feet in size. Install is easy with the included hardware kit, and can be installed in wood, aluminum or vinyl windows with various size openings. This A/C unit weighs in at 40 pounds (43 lb shipping weight). Comes with a 3-prong GFCI power cord that is 6 ft long, and oriented on the left side of the unit. Features of this Air conditioner include 3 fan speeds, digital thermostat controls, eco mode, dry mode, cool mode and fan only mode, a washable filter is also included to protect the evaporator fins. My favorite feature of this A/C unit is the remote control and the timer feature; you can set it to turn of on a time interval (0.5 hour intervals), and also have it turn on at a certain interval. This feature saves me money, by having the unit turned off when I am not home, then I set the timer to turn on an hour before I get home from work, so the room is nice and cool upon my return. The display can also be turned off so there is no light to bother you at night. Comes with a 1-year warranty. I love my new Vissani air conditioner!

I received this Vissani window air conditioner just in time during this humid and hot summer. I really didn't want to run high electric bills since everything else is expensive as well. The air conditioning unit was easy to install since it doesn't weigh very much and everything along with instructions was included in the box. I like the new style of these Vissani window units with the LED temperature light showing on the front. The remote control and WIFI setup is very convenient to use. All the controls are touch sensitive, so no knobs to break or strip. Instructions are easy to read and understand but everything is very intuitive. We definitely recommend this Vissani air-conditioning unit if you just want to use it to cool your bedroom at night and save money like we are doing.

This Vissani window air conditioner is 6000 BTU. It comes with remote control and works great. I have not had any trouble with it since installing it. It keeps my downstairs cool. It has many options for Fan, Cool, Eco, and Dry functions. The filter can be removed and cleaned easily and it lets you know when the filter needs to be cleaned with an indicator light. It also has a timer you can set to shut off as you need. I would recommend this product.

Lightweight and easy to install. It wouldn't have taken long at all, but I had to improvise with the surround a bit because of the small size of my window and only being able to fit one side of the surround around it. I could easily cut the plastic surround to fit, but didn't since it is near the end of the season and may use the window across the room next year. The room looks semi-updated with the digital fascia and the buttons are easy-touch. It looks more like a modern appliance than an old AC. It cools wonderfully and it's totally no hassle. Very relieved after my old one failed. But the remote, ahhh. I can sit in my recliner and blast it just until it's cool enough for a throw at the end of the day and then done for the night. Too bad there's not an app but this unit is great.

A compact and effective window air conditioner at a reasonable price. Package includes mounting panels, hardware, insulation, manuals, remote, and the AC unit. While I haven’t installed the unit yet – waiting on some free time – it appears to be fairly straight forward for mounting in a window. However, I plan on replacing an existing in-wall unit and from past experience there will be issues on my side. I did set-up a bench test so I could test out its features and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at its capabilities. The two most important items at least in my view are the fans ability to move air and the cooling ability measured by the temperature drop across the coil. Both items got favorable scores – the fan blew hard and I got a 26 degree reduction in air temp across the coil. I also ran the unit in Dry mode which is a dehumidifier and again was very impressive in its performance. Overall, I am happy with this little powerhouse and would definitely recommend it for a room around 200-250 square feet.

This Vissani 6000 BTU unit weighs about 43 lbs which was heavier than I thought it would be, but it did a great job cooling off the bedroom we installed it in. It only took about 10 minutes to assemble the unit by screwing the metal bar on the top and apron window covers on the sides. Then with one person inside and another outside it was easy to close the window on it and extend the covers to seal in the unit. The included foam strip was useful to seal any gaps. When I plugged it in it wouldn't come on until I pushed the reset button in the plug. The unit came on immediately and wasn't loud at all. The noise level was very good. However the remote had a dead battery in so I had to go buy another one and then it worked fine. The panel buttons on the unit were easy to understand and the way they lit up was great for being able to see the selections.

I installed this unit in a bedroom window that has a triple track storm window. The frame of the storm window interfered with the bottom of the AC unit and prevented it from fitting properly. I had to make a wood spacer to lift the unit and provide the necessary clearance. The unit requires assembly of the top rail and side panels. Sliding the side panels into the slots on the unit was difficult. When the unit was in the window and everything was secured, there was a large space under the unit that needed to be stuffed with foam to keep insects out. Operation is very simple with the controls on the unit or with the remote. The airflow is good, and the unit is fairly quiet especially on the low fan speed setting. It cools and dehumidifies the room quickly.

Just what I need for the "man shed" out back. The Vissani 6000 BTU air conditioner is quite sufficient for the 12x12 foot space. Although the window it is installed in is a cheap aluminum window that is less than the "required" dimensions as specified in the directions, I was able to successfully install the Vissani by utilizing only one of the side curtains and filling any gaps with the included foam insulation. I also purchased a window air conditioner exterior bracket to better support the A/C unit. Perfect for my needs!

Because of the high electricity costs and the extreme heat this summer I wanted to be able to cool my bedrooms at night without running the central air conditioning.Fortunately there are no restrictions in my area regarding window units which would trigger a code violation. This one is not too heavy so I was able to install it without help.The instructions were easy to follow and it took me a little under an hour. It cools the room more than adequately. I love the three speeds and remote control. I am very satisfied with this product.

I've been lugging window A/C units in our upstairs bedrooms for 25 years. They keep getting smaller, lighter, and more energy efficient over time. This unit exceeds on all three counts! It is reasonably easy to handle from a size standpoint. Add the two window baffles left and right, place the unit in the window and close the top sash. Add a few screws, plug it in, and turn it on. It's that simple. Very easy controls and lots of power for up to fairly large room up to 16 feet by 16 feet!

We needed a good quality A/C unit for our back room, so we ordered the Vissani 6000 BTU Window Air Conditioner to see what it could do. It weighs about 40 pounds and is easy to assemble and install. Everything is included for installation using your own tools. It has 3 speeds and blows very cold. It comes with a very small remote control for unit changes while in bed. It fits well in an opening that is 13 3/5 inches tall and can be used at a width between 24 1/2 to 39 inches wide. It has a light for a clogged filter so you can keep it running at maximum operation. The cord is about 74 inches long. If you are looking for a small size 6000 BTU unit that blows cold and runs quiet, I think this is a good fit.

Cooled our bedroom and bathroom down to 65 degrees while our main unit was out. Not overly noisy either. Easy clean install with no issues. Remote doesn't appear to work awesome but honestly I didn't even know it came with one until unboxing it. In their defense I haven't messed with the remote much so I'll stay neutral for now. I'd buy it again.

Unless you have an affinity for wasting money - especially on air conditioners that make a lot of noise and blow lukewarm air, you should under no circumstance, buy this “air conditioner”. I’m pretty sure this is the worst thing I’ve ever spent money on.

It was bought for an insulated 1 car garage and after 6hrs had barely lowered the temperature. It was boxed back up that same day and sat in my kitchen for a few weeks before my husband decided to take it back. Then Home Depot refused to take it back because it was over 7 days.

Purchased May of 23...worked fine....kept in garage for winter....just reinstalled...no gas, no cold, cannot be recharged....a throw away item.....NEVER AGAIN....

Installing is a pain in the butt if you have vertical windows. But otherwise does a decent job. Sometimes makes a squeaky sound and there is less air circulation while that happens. But if you turn it off and then back on it usually resolves.

Cools well but noisy

it's doing the job ok enough but i think i'll invest in something else after this summer is over. takes a bit to get the room cool and it's also pretty noisy. battery in remote was dead when it arrived. i'm not sweating in my room and that's all i really wanted.

The conditioner blows cold air really good. But the bonus is having a remote. Really good product

It does not cool as much as it said it would it’s weak even for a small room

The blower don't blow to well need to set on 68 so it would put out cold air and a deck fan to move the air
