This is generally a good piece of equipment. I'm docking it one star because when I first tried to use it I found the spindle to be hopelessly stuck in the up position. It took a call to the service center to get me to use two hands to force it to move. I did that, cleaned up a little rust, and re-lubricated and now it moves freely. So I'm pleased.

I love the CVT transmission system!

The drill was easy to assemble and had features like RPM indicator and a Laser marker for the drill location. Speed change is controlled by a lever and easy to do.

For the price this is great machine.

Absolutely satisfied! It drilled through 1/4 inch steel plat in 3 seconds several times. I always spray oil while I drill so my bits last longer. This unit works smoothly and powerful.

Nice drill press for the price. worked well right of the box, no adjustments needed. Very little, if any, run out .

I have used this drill press a few times, and it works great. Setting it up was fairly easy. I love the speed control feature, but you need to remember to only change it while running. It is quite strong, and you need to clamp your workpiece securely. Overall a very good buy!

Excellent table-top drill press. The variable speed is very convenient to use. It has plenty of power for 3/16's steel and 2x6 wood.

So far so good, I haven't used it for too much yet but the few times I have it has been very accurate and stable.

Good quality for the price. It is not a heavy duty drill press, but is just the right weight and size for simple project work. For drilling into tall pieces, I will loosen two set screws and rotate the head 180 degrees and drill off the end of a work table.
