Only been 2 weeks since reseeding lawn, but seems like the vast majority of seed sprouted to a couple of inches in height and no weeds at all. Liking the result so far

I can't tell right.

I bought these grass seeds to reseed the lawns at back yard. The introduction of this item looks amazing, but it just doesn't work for me. After fertilizing, raking, seeding and watering for two weeks, nothing germinates. So disappointing, a total waste of money and work.

Absolutely amazing. Started growing within 7 days and the grass is so full it has chocked Out all the weeds. Waiting to see how it handles this summer but so far has exceeded expectations. Don’t waste time with any other fescue!

Best grass seed ever!! Renovated my 20,000 sq. ft. yard using 75lbs. of Barenbrug Water Saver seed in early September. Now eight weeks later lawn is thicker and greener than ever. This is a fine bladed grass, not the thick blade you get with other tall fescues. Excellent color, bright emerald green. All seed, no coating or fillers, you get what you pay for with Barenbrug seed!

We’ve bought other brands of seed and they have weeds in them but this one we don get any! We even planted seed in the hottest part of summer and as long as you water enough, it grew.

Planted this in 3 sections the last week in August. Seed was fresh and germinated very well. Planted in eastern MA, all sections came up well in about 7 days with brief waterings 4 times per day (wi-fi timer). Grass was about 3" 4 weeks after planting and ready for its first mow. This seed contains about 40% RTF seed and needs to be raked in to germinate fully. I spoke to the producer (Barenburg) and they said rhizome activity will start once the grass is mature, so second year. In my area fungus is a problem with tall fescue so i've learned to use a fungicide with this grass with good results. Overall the grass performs well with considerable abuse (English Mastiff) and is definitely a cheaper more durable option than a Bluegrass mix IMO. I did my homework on grasses and most of the lawn care companies in my area use tall fescue.

My backyard was a dirt and weed Wonderland I didn't want to spend a lot of money putting in sod because I rent the house I'm in but still wanted the house to look nice. I tried planting last year and nothing would grow so after reading about this grass seed I decided to try it. After one week I could see little grass springing up everywhere it has now been 3 weeks and I almost have a full lawn. I have three large dogs but still like to go in the newly planted grass and so far it is holding up despite them. I highly recommend this product.

I only recommend if you are planting a new lawn.

I will not sow the seed until around Easter I have used this seed before and had very good results

So far so good. Overseeded and things look successful. Only time will tell if seed is that much better than old available Crossfire or Rebel. I think it will be much better.

Quality Grass Seed!

Germinated in six days! The soil is horrible red clay so that says alot about this seed. Waiting to see how well it fills in. Very satisfied!

At this time I can only rate this fescue seed on germination. For reseeding I used a small aerator to punch holes before and after spreading the seed, covered the seed lightly with peat moss and/or old thatch and watered 3 times each day. Great germination results August 2018.
