Design indented in wood. Need to return but already paid for assembly

This review is for the Welwick 52in. Distressed Gray Solid Wood Dining Table. This table came packaged very well as u can see from the box it came in. I have a small problem with the one I first got but the customer service was excellent. They took care of my problem in record time. The table is made out of pine so it is a little softer than other woods but each piece is a good weight! In one of the pictures I tried to show how the one side makes it look thicker than it is but that’s really not an issue for me... It’s exactly the right size for my small dining area.

The table is crafted to look like a thick piece of wood, when in actuality, it is a thin piece of wood with the sides built up to make it appear thicker. It is constructed much like a laminate countertop. For this reason, the table is extremely light and easy to move around if this is something you are looking for. The table is also a smaller size than most tables so keep that in mind. The legs are not adjustable. The appearance of the table is good. It is a nice gray wood. It is sort of put together like a picnic table with three narrow pieces of wood braced together to make up the table. As a result of this picnic table-like construction, the three pieces of wood do have a noticeable gap between the pieces. Where the pieces of wood meet is not flat either. If you put a plate on the gap, it will wobble back and forth.

Welwick Designs 52 in. Distressed Grey Solid Wood Dining Table is surprising nice for build your self furniture. This nice solid top in gray makes a simple but practical solution to and where a dining table is needed. The hardware is completely includes and well marked as well as the individual pieces. Instructions are easy to read and understand. Little unstable but doable.

Great table, stylist and simple.

It’s beautiful and good quality. Had a problem attaching the bars to the table because the screws weren’t long enough so wasn’t able to install them all.

easy to put together... nice table, I sealed the wood on top with a few coats of poly to protect... looks great with the black chairs.

While wiping it down the first time with a dish wag the paint came off onto the wag! Wow what a disappointment. Otherwise I liked the table but the paint/stain should not come off.

Met my expectations. The assembly was a bit tricky,,,,,follow the instructions!!!!!!

The wood is terrible and uneven. Hard to put glass of milk on it worries about spills. Hard to clean had to put table cloth on it

Honestly just go find some pallets and sand them down you'll get a better look and finish this is laminated particle board seams don't line up and food gets caught in them it's just not a good design. Save your money

Package was sent without assembly instructions. Could not get it put together. The top appears to be solid wood, misleading.

This is perfect for our little corner nook. I’m crazy-picky and a designer. Thrilled with this table. Looks wonderful with our little corner nook kitchen L shaped benches wi the storage underneath. I’m waiting on the two parsons chairs I bought and then I will post photos. This exact table is more than $150 more on another website.

After buying three dining tableland not liking any, I saw this table and bought it!! It is perfect and fits in the space just like I wanted! Easy to put together!

Very good design and sturdy overall

Easy to assemble, really fit the bill for the compact space I was looking to fill. Sturdy and modern in style, would highly recommend.

It is a very nice looking table - distressed barnwood appearance. But it is NOT solid wood as depicted in photos - it is wood less than half as thick as photo implies and the distressed look is a laminate. It is fairly easy to assemble. So... looks good, but not exactly as advertised.

As described. Perfect and easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
