Great Value!
My wife and I were a bit skeptical of quality because of the great price. Turns out this is a great product. Looks, feels, and performs as well as any competing product and does so at a bargain price

We love our new Whirlpool dishwasher! It’s quiet and beautiful! My husband installed it with ease. The tall tub is excellent for large loads including pots and pans. We especially love that a full load can be run in an hour, a life saver for this busy household! It’s ONLY Whirlpool appliances for this family.

Leaks water down the front w/other annoyances
Its not really a problem, dealt with it since it was new,but theres always a drip when in cycle and afterwards down the left side, so If you have those dishwasher magnets it will ruin the front of your dishwasher since it leaks down the back where the magnetic part is and leaves a rust you can't get rid of. Also the inside GRIME sticks to the plastic and I use to clean it, but gave up since it not a real problem, but looks gross. The silverware basket always falls off and has these 2 little brackets that you have to keep propping it up on, so when its full and comes off its a pain. Theres these 2 little plastic stoppers on the sides of the top metal tray that holds the top basket only 1 always pops off and you have to look for it somewhere on the bottom got so tired of it had to zip tie it, and you need it because it keeps the metal sides propped so the top basket stays fixed and doesnt't drop.I mean it works so far , but Im always like "Ugh, this is annoying" I used to have a lower quality frigidaire one that cost a lot less but when I moved I wanted stainless, thats why I have this one,and the frigidaire did not have ANY issues even after years of use.

    Meets My Needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this washer. I have only run it once. It was quiet and everything was nicely clean. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more money and get a finish that doesn’t show finger prints.

Only had it a few weeks so I can't speak to durability. Was looking for a budget-friendly, solid dishwasher from a reputable brand in stainless steel. I rate it with that in mind. I didn't buy a $800 Maytag so I don't expect it to deliver that kind of performance. It cleans well and is quiet enough that I don't have to turn up the TV when I use it. The dishes are mostly dry after; Tupperware edges and the bottoms of bowls still hold some water. So what. Like I said, it's not top-of-the-line but so far it's doing the job and is a huge improvement over what I had. If you want all the bells and whistles and bone-dry dishes when it's done, pony up the dough.

I got this dishwasher about a month ago. I had a "Quiet Partner 890 Series" Whirlpool dishwasher before. I loved that it had a utensil tray for short utensils & a horizontal one that was perfect for long spoons, lids & other things etc. It also had lots more cycles than this one. This one has only a tray for short utensils. Other than that the inside of the dishwasher is identical to the previous one. The con is that when I replaced the previous one the installers found out it was leaking in the back of the unit but I had not noticed it. (Now the Insurance does not want to cover the damage caused) I hope this one does not leak! This one seems to be working just fine so far, but again I wash everything before I put them in. I do not like to use the rinse agent. I prefer to just dry the glasses, stemmed glasses & dishes. I hate spots! I wish I had kept the old utensil tray. I wonder if I could order one? It's pretty quiet but the cycles are long, so as other reviewer pointed out I do not know if it's energy efficient or not. I hope it is. It remembers the last cycle you use which is a plus in my book! I got the stainless steel finish to match other appliances. I hope is not hard to keep clean although I noticed a few spots on it already. The door seems to be hard to open & close. Perhaps the installers needed to adjust that? I did not noticed it until I used it of course.

Cleans well and very quiet when running. Had guest over and they asked if the dishwasher was actually running because the sound of it was so quiet. I also like the silverware tray on the door. Much more space to load it up. I use Windex to wipe smudges and it works wonderfully.

I bought this to replace what was essentially the same Whirlpool model from 2016. Exact same features as that old one. The price had gone up of course - but the quality went WAY down. I can't believe how cheap everything is on one in comparison. The whole unit seemed to weigh about half what the old one did. I swear the interior space is smaller. The one thing I do like is that the lighter color racks look cleaner - but I am sure the lighter color was an attempt to make the space look bigger. The WORST part is the odor. Absolutely the worst outgassing appliance I have ever bought! I am so thankful the weather is cooperating and I can have every window in my house open. DO NOT BUY. I totally regret this purchase!

We decided to save $100 with this model (plastic tub) rather than getting the next model up with a steel tub 2 months ago. So far, things are going well, dishes are coming out clean, plastic still isn’t drying completely but better than our previous 13-yr-old model. Stainless steel front has some stains we can’t seem to get clean, this model also doesn’t have wheels like other, more expensive models.

I feel like this dishwasher cleans the dishes really well. I also like how there is a ton of space. The door is not flimsy, it can be left open a few inches or more in any position(see pic). Couple of things I don't like is that it does not dry the dishes all the way and I feel the top rack should have another enclosure piece/flap to keep dishes in their place. 1 flap is not enough for me because I wash a lot of tupperware that easily gets flipped over. (see pic for tupperware container flipped over and filled with dirty water) It should be noted after installation the door hinges needed lubricant badly. The door was hard to get open and it made a horrible screeching sound when opening. I sprayed WD40 on the hinges and that did the trick!

This washer never dried the dishes and barely cleaned them, it was new when we purchased our home. I had to replace a pump on this washer once, and the new pump tne failed again after 8 months. Rather than fix it again I decided to purchase a new dishwasher. Once I removed it and lifted this washer I knew that Whirlpool was cutting costs, it weighs around 25lbs and is all plastic (besides the thin stainless front facade). The new Maytag which is $100 more than this unit actually works, has a metal tank, and weighs 20lbs more than this dishwasher. Do not waste your money on this model.

Purchased this to replace an old Whirlpool Quiet Partner I that finally died. This has a very familiar design on the inside compared to our last unit, might even have a little more clearance for the top rack which is much appreciated. I'd say this is a little bit quieter than our previous unit but I did save the insulation from the old unit so this one has double insulation to help the noise level. Overall, not a top of the line model (not top of the line price either) but gets the job done all the same. Install was pretty straight forward. I recycled the power plug from the old unit, used my old drain line to the garbage disposal, had to get an adapter for the water supply line attaching to the machine, and reused the insulation wrap from the old unit to double up on soundproofing. Applying for an energystar rebate with my co-op!

                          Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased about a month ago. My husband, who is an engineer, and my son, who is a college student installed this dishwasher without any problems. However, read the instructions first since there are parts that you will need to purchase prior to installation. This is a no frills model but what I wanted in a dishwasher was just something that cleaned well. I did a trial run using the normal cycle and heavily soiled dishes and the unit worked like a champ! The one hour cycle however you will want to quickly rinse your dishes first. There is a delay cycle but the only option is for a four hour delay. To me this wasn’t a big deal but possibly for someone else it could be a deal breaker. The silverware rack is located on the door which is taking a little bit to get used to but it is not an issue. If you do not like having the silverware rack on the door you have the option of removing it and putting it in the main dishwasher. All in all I am satisfied with this unit so far especially considering I did not have to spend an arm and a leg. As others noted yes, I do have to do a little bit of drying after the cycle but I had to do that with my Bosch as well. The reason I gave this unit four stars is because after removing the plastic from the front of the dishwasher which we did after installation I noticed several marks on the bottom of the front door. I don’t know if this was caused from the plastic and the way we peeled it off or if it was just something in the way it was manufactured. Since my husband did not see it as a big deal ( probably because he did not want to have to uninstall and reinstall a new unit ) we are living with it as it is.

A dishwasher is a lot like an electric shaver. All else being equal, technique makes all the difference. The first 3 photos show how I loaded the dishwasher with two meals' worth of dishes for my wife and me. Details are in the captions. Normal cycle, High Temp and Heat Dry options, 1 scoop of Bubble Bandit detergent (Google it) in the main wash chamber. Didn't purge the hot water line. The last photo shows the result of a torture test. A workman's mug crusted with coffee and almond milk residue was deliberately placed in the right rear corner of the top rack farthest from the reach of the wash arm. Aside from color balancing the images in GIMP, they are otherwise unaltered. Load it right, feed it right, and it'll treat you and your dishes right.

Purchased in September, 2018. Installed by a licensed plumber. It replaced a Whirlpool that did just fine with our dishwasher loading practices, detergent brand. and water heater settings ... I was surprised and disappointed with this appliance's performance. To be blunt, it does not reliably get dishes clean, even with heavy cycle, extra hot wash, sanitizing rinse, rinse agent set to maximum, and running the water at the faucet until it is hot. Between having to prewash instead of just scraping off the food, rewashing about 10% of any load, setting the water heater higher, and having to use the high-energy features to even get a 90% clean load, this is not saving any energy at all. PROOF: The attached photo is of a refrigerator container that had held roasted onions and potatoes. It was dirty side down, not dried out, nothing blocking it, facing the upper spray arm, and stayed dirty through the "heavy" wash cycle.
