[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine to replace a previous Whirlpool Duet front loader my wife and I had had for around 17 years. For the most part, that machine only had a few minor issues (though I did have to replace the controller at around 5 years). This machine, however, does not have the same build quality. The operator panel feels very cheap and the detergent loading drawer is flimsy. These issues I can look past (unfortunately most companies are trying to save on development by reducing cost to manufacture), but three service calls and a replaced controller within the first 14 months of ownership leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Very glad I purchased the extended warranty and I highly suggest anyone purchasing this model to do the same. This could have just been a little bit of a lemon starting out, but it could save you some cash on service calls. It is working great now, but I definitely no longer see Whirlpool as our default appliance brand moving forward.

Kept it maintained and it’s still working, for my sister-in-law. Had to get a new washer and it’s amazing. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think I like it better than my Maytag! It’s easy to use, programming is a snap.

I’m only in my late 50’s but the hands don’t work like they used to. It does vibrate a bit and I’ve been told it works better when you really load it up. I didn’t have a choice when buying these appliances.

I had a Whirlpool front loading set that I loved (bought in 2009) but had to replace because the dryer died. I wish I could have my old set back. They do clean and dry clothes well. However, I feel like I have very little control over how they are washed and dried. I do not like the way the automatic settings work, I hate the long wash/dry times, and the eco boost is a joke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not really liking this machine as it does not spin good.. a few times my clothes come out soaked and wont let it spin on its own without having to run a whole new cycle! I dislike it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My clothes get sufficiently clean, but larger absorbent items, such as bath mats, do not get dry enough. Even after two cycles of extra spin on full spin speed they are too wet to put into the dryer. The noise level is acceptable.

Absolutely love the Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer in my 30” wide bedroom closet. Gets clothes really clean and is not too noisy.

What was very disappointing was the delivery driver said he couldn’t put the washer and dryer on the stand drawers we had. That is very frustrating as we have no way to do that as these units are heavy. So, RT Moore who delivered gets a failing grade, just know they won’t put them on drawers.

Bad machine design, poorly built, do not buy! I purchased this washer 07/03/2019 and have had nothing but problems with it. Within the first year there was an issue with a part missing from it being built in the factory, which caused water to spray out on the inside during a load. This caused the control panel on the front to fail from water damage. Also have water constantly leak down the front and pool underneath the machine, from the poorly fitting laundry detergent tray. Now less than 3.5 years after purchase, the appliance control unit has also failed. Been through 2 Whirlpool washing machine's in the past 11 years - this brand is not what it used to be. We won't buy Whirlpool again.

we purchased this washer last October 2022 and it's had problems w/ the spin ever since it was installed. If it spins up, which is not always, the entire house shakes. Otherwise it just starts to spin then slows and stops. Clothes are generally still soaking wet when the cycle is complete. Is this a common problem?

For instance why does it constantly display as washing when it has moved on to spin cycle. As I figure this out I think I will be much happier with my purchase. However when you try to phone for some guidance, or access chat for guidance you are put into automaton hell.
