I bought this a couple weeks ago, and I love it. Free storage for three days is more than adaquate for me. My only gripe is having to move the wiring for the doorbell so it's next to the door, as opposed to parallel to the door (where my doorbell was) I wish there was a 90 or 45 degree base plate so I could get a full view with the camera, or not have to move it to begin with. Keep in mind, with the photo, I havent painted the stucco after filling it in to move the wiring (and doorbell) next to the door. I still love it though.

This is my third week with the Remo now and an so glad I made the choice to buy considering the hype over the RIng and the Nest hello . This baby is easy to install , works with your existing chime , WiFi set up is automatic with the app and boom, am on line and now I have eyes when am not there.

I think that this is one of the best investments I’ve made. It’s very clear video and pictures and clear for talking also! Wouldn’t trade it for nothing as my wife said. Compared to other doorbell cams for half the price it’s just as good and I would recommend it to anyone.

I considered the competitors. Remo has the features, design, and value that makes anything else costing above Remo a very hard sell. I have had ZERO issues with this product, it’s reception, and it’s feature base. I will be investing in more Remo products in the future.

I decided on the Remo over the Ring due to security concerns on the Ring and the price of the Remo was more affordable as well.

My family and I have been using the Remo Bell S for 2 weeks. We enjoy the function and seamless integration with Amazon smart home. Our echos function as the doorbell chime indoors. Want to buy another.

We bought the RemoBell S one month ago. We knew to upgrade the door bell transformer from a 10VA to a new 16V/30VA transformer which we did. We knew one of our chimes (NuTone LA11BG) was on the list of chimes that the RemoBell S would work with. Our second chime was a gamble since the engineers at Remo were not able to confirm that it would work. The bell chime in question (THOMAS & BETTS DH922 2-1/2) works great with the Remobell S. However due to its size the power kit can NOT be installed inside the chime! We opted to install it on the transformer side of the wiring leading towards the chime! We never checked if that is legal or in accordance with electrical code. On a side note, we are able to have both bell chimes work with only one power kit which we installed with one leg to the "hot" side on the transformer and the other leg to the opposite phase where the bell button feeds both bells. I am not sure why and how long but for now both chimes sound with only one power kit even though Remo states this wouldn't work. For its price we are very impressed with the camera. Yes, it picks up more than we would like (headlight reflections on the siding cause a motion alert) and at -20'F it is slow to pick up real motion (recording starts when we are in the unlocked house when coming back from walking the dog) but that is still better than expected since Remo's specifications clearly state the temperature range to be beween -4 and +122'F. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

Some times the video quality will be blurred. Sound has a delay when talking into phone and the sound quality isn't the best either.

I like the free 3 day cloud storage and low price, but I’ve had the camera for a month now and am unable to get the “best video quality” feature to work. Working with Remo IT, but no solution yet :(

We have two front doors, and two Remo+ doorbells. It is nice to get notifications for Jehovah's Witnesses or packages stopping by our front porch. We do get a bunch of unwanted false motion triggers especially when it is raining even though the porches are covered. There is some software adjustments to reduce false notifications. But I haven't been able to get it to ignore raindrops and bugs. The setup was relatively easy for a handy person. The doorbell excels at being answered to a button push because it's fast response to our cell phones. There is a slight lag but it has near real time communication whether we are home or away.

Works fast, insulation was pretty easy, one thing is live feed comes in full screen, very clear but archived or saved video is fish eye or circular and not as clear as the live feed.

We just made the move to electronics in our home. I couldn’t hear if some one rang the doorbell downstairs and now I can hear my phone and see who is at the door, in case I don’t want to go up and answer it. Great. I took a grinder and made the bell fit in our rock front also looks great.

I just recieved the Remo+ for Christmas and installed it the week after. Been using it for a couple weeks now and it is very easy to use... once I figured out that I could only connect it to my 2.4 Ghz home wifi network and not my 5Ghz network. It's nice that there isn't too much of a delay in real time video and audio performance. Wish it wouldn't record video in fish-eye format only. I AM a bit concerned with the video quality, however, as every other time I bring up the live video option, the entire bottom half of the video is pixelated and doesn't show up well. As soon as someone walks into the frame and/or there's motion around, it seems to clear up, but it shouldn't be pixelating at all in the first place. I may have to contact Remo about it and get my unit replaced if it continues. Picture of problem is attached.

Recommended by a friend, and it did not dissapoint. It is very easy to install and set up. It provides good video and is overall a nice looking and functioning doorbell for a reasonable price.

Our Remo+ S is a great, nifty, and effective video doorbell. It's well worth the PCMAG.com Editor's Choice award. Installation was simple and easy; connecting it with the app was relatively straight forward. We don't have any complaints, and the sensor is really sensitive. My one concern is the app controls aren't the most user friendly or intuitive, but for what we need and want you can't go far wrong with this video doorbell.

I was impressed by the quality of the product, the completeness of the package, and the relative ease of installation (thanks to a pretty clear instruction manual). I got it all working correctly with the app, my WiFi, and my doorbells with little hassle. However, in practice it's a mixed bag, and there are features missing I expected to be there. The main issue is false detection, which I believe is largely caused by glitchy video, since it uses changes in video frames to detect motion (see pic). It also seems to detection motion when my other in-view security cams go into IR night mode, and I've had to lower sensitivity because of detections for no reason at all. There is no human detection that could compensate for these glitches. The two main features I wish for are the ability to adjust video (e.g. the IR mode is too dark) and to have one or more key detection frames pushed to my email (or text) so I do not have necessarily have to download a full 30 second video each time. And while I know that mobile is where it's at, I'd still like to have a browser interface available for my PC. Finally, every review points out that live view can present a square (albeit cropped), rather than fisheye view, yet the recorded video can only be viewed in fisheye. Hopefully Remo will stay in business and will continue to refine and expand its software!

Installed it 2weeks ago easy to setup and use very happy with the product.

Installed a few weeks ago, and like how it functions over the Ring Doorbell which I returned. Packaged well with everything you need to complete the installation. Resolution is better than what I was expecting. I am happy with this video doorbell.

Very glad I chose Remo+, runs off my existing wiring so no cables to run or batteries to change. A little hard maybe for some to get the in line fuse into hole in the wall but without a little challenge where would we be. Sleek design, best looking doorbell out there. Wish I could change the ding ding sound effect to anything I want though. Overall very happy!

Had it installed about a week ago, it seems to perform just like more expensive ones.Very happy with it.

We purchased a few weeks ago, the install was very easy, and we are very happy with our purchase. For the price, I don't think you can beat the Remo S.

I was unwilling to pay the money for Ring and Nest plus they don't provide any free cloud storage. The Remo was a good price, it seems to be well made, has great video, and was easily installed. It supports both mechanical and digital doorbells. If you have a mechanical doorbell you need to go into settings and set the doorbell to mechanical. This was not specified in the instructions. Aside from this no other issues. I am very satisfied.

Like: quick response from camera to WiFi to cloud to cellular network to iPhone. Very narrow - fit in limited space that I had available. Economy feature: So-So resolution Mixed benefit: Extremely wide angle even shows most of doormat, but people several feet away are hard to identify. I definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to try out a relatively inexpensive simple setup. I had to expand the access hole used by the old dumb doorbell to have enough space to use wire nuts provided with this unit. Using soldered connections could have avoided that, but I chose to use brute force instead. I'm glad this doesn't identify me since my door and trim are so unattractive. Functional, though.

We installed the Remo S about a week ago so far it is serving the purpose. It was simple and easy for my brother to install. The Remo does a good job detecting motion. The alerts are really fast. I really wish that I can zoom in on the downloaded videos especially the ones recorded at night. Sometimes the videos are not clear and are too dark. However, the footage looks great during the day.
