What is the size of the sprayer's base? I purchased 4 Pices of this product, but the sprayer goes bad within 6 months to a year. I just want to buy the sprayer, but do not have that on Home Depot. Need width of the sprayer's base and a link for that part.

    The instructions say to turn the valve off each time, which is a pain. Has anyone tried not doing that? Have you had any leaks?

    No leaks for the last 2 years. The valve instructions is more of a safety instruction I feel, as the sprayer head might not be able to contain beyond a certain PSI. I keep the value in low pressure all the time so that I do not have to turn it on and off.

      How to re-install the push-button that turns sprayer on and off? The stainless-steel cover button and spring for the push-button popped off, and I can't figure out how to get it to stay back on. The sprayer is still functional, but doesn't look good. There are no ways to contact customer service for this product.

      This is not a customer repairable product ... but it may very well still be under warranty. Stop by the Customer Service desk at your local Home Depot and talk to the Pros there. They may be a great help on this.

        I have not measured it however I think its about 5 feet long. not an issue to reach from back of toilet to front with no issue. If you need something longer the hookup is standard and you can purchase something longer.

        Rust after 6 months
        This is an update to my review of March 2021. Had to screw the button at the back where it fell out. The hook which holds the handle holder has corroded (see picture). Actual unit is fine though.

          This Hand-Held Bidet toilet sprayer comes with everything you need to hook it up - including the Teflon tape!! It is packaged well and instructions are clear and simple. It works well as a "front wash" but a posterior bidet sprayer would also be needed for a complete clean. I use it for a water source to clean up the toilet (that is in a separate enclosed area within the bathroom). It's nice to not have to rinse cleaning brushes and cloths in the sink.

          The quality of build on this product is excellent! High grade stainless steel, even the hose! The options for warm/cold water are excellent, but this is all we can fully comment on as I only give it an average due to the fact that it requires a plumber or a really seasoned DIY with excellent plumbing skills to install. The fittings do not work with what we have so we also would need a complete do-over which we do not want to do. I will attest that we tried out the sprayer using a hose, it is wonderful and I think for those whose set-up it compatible with this will love it. I just think there should be a little better foreknowledge that this requires good plumbing skills before a person would buy it.

          A really "cool" addition the bathroom! Bidet toilet sprayers seem to be getting more popular lately. I never gave it much thought, but have seen them advertised as a good addition to an efficient bathroom lately. I need to purchase a different flexible inlet line to make this set work in my bathroom. After reading the installation instructions, I don't think it is going to be a problem installing it. The instructions that are included are very detailed and it seems like a pretty simple installation for any homeowner. I can't wait to use it.

          I will tell you that this includes some of the most heavy duty and solid feeling hardware I've experienced for quite some time. The T adapter is the heaviest piece of plumbing I've felt in as long as I can remember. Amazing. The same goes for the hose, and the sprayer. Solid and top notch. This says a 5 minute install and that is about right, for a DIY. For a novice, maybe a few more minutes. But easy enough most can do. I laid this all out, took pics, installed and then did an uninstall for a few reasons. Here is why. (1) the instructions show you have to shut off the t adapter after each use. What? If you install this as it shows, reaching to that area is no easy task. Turn it on, turn it off. Not gonna happen. Risk a flood? No, not doing that. (2) the spray is nice, but the hygienics of this is not really something I'm comfortable with. I realized that after I saw the overspray and the wet marks all over the sprayer that I don't want to deal with adding this to the mix and (3) if you have ever considered the water coming out of the toilet is super duper cold, you'll realize that I you try to use this as a bidet sprayer, it isn't going to feel good on one of the most sensitive parts of your body. For these reasons, I uninstalled this and decided to not risk the potential for a flood. So, hope you aren't discouraged by this, but I wanted to keep it real and as honest as I can be. It is a great idea, and I like the concept, but in my mind I cannot get there.

          I was expecting this install to take a couple of hours – Surprise, after about 20 minutes I was done! And to top it all off it works great. The materials and construction are high-quality. It looks and feels as if it will last for a long time. I would suggest mounting the spray holder to the wall rather than using the toilet tank adapter as it would be much more solid (all hardware is included for both mounting options). If you are looking for an economical hand-held bidet sprayer and can tolerate a cold water wash along with the inconvenience of having to point and shoot manually, then this product is a very good option. It also is a great way to wash off bedpans, diapers, or anything else that will be flushed in a toilet. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend.

          This is a difficult product to review objectively. I've given four stars for the actual performance and design of this. Actually using it is closer to two stars.. I got this as a precursor to eventually getting a toilet seat bidet setup (before spending $200+). The pros: good price, easy installation, and it works relatively well. The cons: holding this to hit the desired area is awkward, two pressure settings are not enough, cold water is not comfortable, and the instructions say to leave the valve turned off when not in use. It Is awkward to reach under the tank to turn the value each use. I was hoping to find out from this product if I really wanted a bidet. It hasn't really helped me in that regard. Made in china.

          The Ruling bidet handheld toilet sprayer comes in a very easy to clean stainless steal finish. The installation only took a few minutes to install using a small open end wrench. The best thing about this multiple purpose sprayer is that you can use it in as a side attachment as a pet shower, to wash out your toilet bowl and even spray out your bathroom garbage can. But the best feature of the bidet sprayer is how easy it is to clean after using the toilet. The different level spray makes for a light or heavy flow of water.

          This Bidet is made very nicely it is constructed strong and looks very nice in the bathroom and matches our other stainless steel fixtures . it came with everything needing to install it and the instructions were very easy to follow during installation. Now we can wash the toilet and anything else we need to wash with it. My wife has been asking for one of these for a while now. The whole Bidet spray is super nicew, you can control the water flow with the handle on the side below the toilet bowl.

          Review for Ruiling’s Stainless Steel Hand-held Bidet Toilet Sprayer Set in Silver. It was very easy to connect to the toilet: turn the toilet supply valve off, flush the toilet to empty the tank, disconnect the water supply to the tank, connect the water supply to the flow diverter valve, then connect the sprayer’s hose to the valve, then the diverter valve to the bottom of the tank, turn the toilet’s supply valve back on and check for leaks. The instructions for the sprayer aren’t given; the water diverter directs the water either to the tank or or to the tank and the sprayer. A button on the sprayer turns the water on and off, and the collar of the sprayer turns the sprayer from power spray to gentle stream. To use the sprayer turn the lever to the sprayer, point the sprayer at what you want to rinse, push the button to start the flow, rotate the collar to choose between gentle flow and forceful stream. When finished, push the button to turn the flow off, then turn the diverter valve away from the sprayer. The price of this sprayer makes it a good buy. Functionally, I like it, the sprayer will do a great job of rinsing diapers and the inside of the bowl when cleaning it; but but the water temperature is going to be whatever the temperature of the cold water supply is.. This came delivered in a box labeled “Haunch and Diaper Sprayer”, but the sprayer’s size makes it difficult to maneuver under the toilet seat while rinsing the “haunch”. Still, I like it.
