Product Details

Toggled LED tubes are designed to replace T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes. These UL Listed, FCC compliant LED products use only 16-Watt of energy and are rated for 50,000 hours with a lifetime residential warranty. In addition, Toggled LED lights eliminate ballast systems, reduce facility lighting costs, enhance the quality of light and are mercury free. Installation requires basic re-wiring around ballast systems to non-shunted lamp holders. These lamps have a single ended power design to improve safety and prevent accidental shock. Non-shunted lamp holders are included with every tube to replace shunted lamp holders in lighting fixtures if necessary. toggled is a Michigan based manufacturer of LED products.

Q:Your video states “if u purchased an instillation kit”. Is this 2 bulb pack not all inclusive? Do I need to purchase an instillation kit? It does not state on packaging that instillation kit is included.
by|Oct 28, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  We apologize for any confusion. This 2-pack does include the installation kit. You would receive 2 LED tubes, 2 pre-wired non-shunted lampholders, 2 non-shunted non-wired lampholders, 2 wire-nuts and a modification label. We sell some products that don’t include the pre-wired kits, which is why the video mentions it may or may not have the kit included. The description details located in the product listing shows this item includes pre-wired lampholders. Please contact us at 1-844-toggled or at support@toggled.com if you have any questions. We’re happy to help.

Q:If this light's color temperature described as Bright White, how come its Kelvin temperature is 6500K? Shouldn't it be 4000-4500K?
      by|Oct 1, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  Lower Kelvin color temperatures (3000K for example) produce a warmer light appearance. Higher color temperatures (6500K for example) produce a cooler, brighter appearance. We're happy to discuss this in more detail. Please feel free to contact us directly at 1-844-toggled or at support@toggled.com with any questions.

Was pretty easy to install in garage and works as expected. Got rid of old ballast. Comes with everything needed for smooth installation

            My wife loves it!
I had to bypass the ballast, but once I got them installed, it was working very well. My wife appreciates the brighter light in the kitchen.

Easy after the first time. Read for photo context.
I retrofitted my kitchen with 4500k bulbs in a single morning, never having done this before. I decided to get 6500k for the garage and finished hours before sunset. I'll leave photos for comparison. I won't blame the manufacture for me thinking 6500k means "more bright" than 4500k, but I realized it just has to do with color. I wish I got 4500k for the garage. 6500k is way too cold for comfort.

              Easy after the first fixture
Replaced 2 fixtures in the kitchen and one in the hallway. After removing the wire cover and figuring out what the heck I was looking at, everything became clear and easy. The 4-lamp fixture had 2 balasts wired in series. The instructions were to remove the balasts entirely because the bulbs themselves have regulators installed. So I wired one side in paralell, clipped the wires on the other side installed the bulbs and now everything works. I also did my garage but with 6500k bulbs.

                You can save $$$.
Bypassing the ballast in a fluorescent light allows you to eliminate the issues of the ballast.

                  Came with a bad led
After installing the lights one of the LEDs didn’t work. Kinda frustrating to have this issue with a LED. After returning and getting a replacement they worked fine.

                    Too easy to upgrade.
This kit came with everything you need to update old lights. Easy to do, even has videos you can watch before tackling this project. I'm happy I finally have a QUIET working light.

A bit too $, but good anyway
Good color white, easy to disassemble, not too brittle, nice wide dispersion, +1 for single-ended, dimming works smoothly. A bit more than I wanted to pay per tube, but close enough I'm tempted to buy more.

replaced lamps and transformers with LED tube
I converted 4 fixtures that originally had 4ea 4 ft lamps. I installed 2 LED lamps 6500K lights in each and they provide very good light in the shop. Instant full brightness on and not all the annoying hum. The manual needs improving in the wiring diagram
