toggled LED tubes are designed to replace T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes. These UL Listed, FCC compliant LED products use only 8-Watt of energy and are rated for 50,000-hours with a 6-year warranty. In addition, toggled LED lights eliminate ballast systems, reduce facility lighting costs, enhance the quality of light and are mercury free. Installation requires basic re-wiring around ballast systems to non-shunted lamp holders. Non-shunted lamp holders are included with every tube to replace shunted lamp holders in lighting fixtures if necessary.

This product worked exactly as advertised. Removing the ballast and wiring directly into the incoming power was a snap; I installed four of these in less than an hour. The hardest part was really just getting the fixture cover to seat properly as I screwed it back together. I love the color from the 3000k bulb, and also love the instant-on performance - no more blinky startups. I'm so pleased that I didn't have to change out my old fixtures to install LEDs - I will look for this brand in the future when the bulb/ballast combination in my other fluorescent fixtures start to fail.

Easy to install. Great to get rid of old fluorescent ballast which was failing. Less wattage: 8 vs 20 and a lot cooler. Warm light at 3000K. Instant on. It comes with the “tombstone” shaped receptacles so no need to reuse old ones. Very pleased with the product with quick delivery to my house.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I can't speak for the bulb's longevity since I only installed it two weeks ago, but it was easy to install and works great. The bulb comes with a pair of non-shunted lampholders and a pair of wire nuts. One lampholder supports the unpowered end of the bulb. The other, which supports the powered end, comes prewired with black and white leads. Depending on the design of the fluorescent fixture you're retrofitting, you might be able to use your existing lampholders, but it's great that Toggled provides a pair just in case. I decided to use them, and the installation was simple and came out very clean-looking. I'd recommend at least a moderate amount of electrical wiring knowledge before taking on this retrofit project. Failing that, a decent electrician could easily do it for you.
