I like the whole service I received frome hom depot. Tom, who helped me on on finding the right materials and negotiating the price is great guy. He is very professional and respectful. He took his time to meet me more than two times to explain about the options and price and he give his honest opinion that help to attract customers. I loved my interaction with him and I believe his help make me to decide to install the door and windows. You also send me great installer, Greg, he is great guy too, very professional and knows what he is doing. He came with his friend. Greg did almost all the job . The work is very clean and perfect instalation. I will recomanded him to come for my future instalation probably the left windows and doors. I am hopeful that the newly installed windows and door will protect the cold during winter. Thank you very much

In addition to windows and a sliding patio door ($9,500), we needed a new front entry door. The sales rep said he did not know what doors were available in an 84? size (our home?s original entry door is not the typical 80?) and that he would have to get back to us. He never did. Big red flag. But by that point we had already signed the contract and placed our order for four windows and a patio door. We encountered a couple of other issues (trim color on basement windows, operation of hopper-style basement windows, lock placement on patio door, etc.) along the way, most of which were a result of us relying on the Home Depot sales rep to catch and to inform us on. But he didn?t, and we are now regretting going to Home Depot. We wish we could turn the clock back and have the company we hired to replace our entry door also replace the four windows and slider. As they say, the devil is in the details, and your sales rep is terrible in dealing with the details. We cannot, in good faith, recommend Home Depot to our family, friends and neighbors for door and window replacement.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can replacing my windows lower my heating and cooling costs?
Upgrading your windows will lower heating and cooling costs. The Home Depot team is here to help you maximize energy savings with modern, high-quality window options, including triple-pane glass with gas insulation, low-E4, and dual-pane glass.
What is the difference between aluminum, vinyl, and wood window materials?
Aluminum window frames combine contemporary style with the strength to stand up against extreme temperatures. Vinyl window frames, which typically contain PVC, combine water resistance, easy maintenance, and ultraviolet protection against the sun. Wooden window frames will not stick due to contraction and expansion. However, wood is harder to maintain, with susceptibility to both rot and weathering.

During your free window replacement in-home consultation, a window installation specialist from The Home Depot will take professional measurements, show you product samples from industry-leading brands, and quote your individual project.
