Does my store offer Express Delivery?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies directly from your store to your front door. Make sure your order is placed by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Eligibility depends on driver availability, item size, and local stock. Set your local store online or in The Home Depot app to see if it's available. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag both in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, bulk orders, and aerosols). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
