Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Father's Day?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so it's time to get shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tools, grills, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like ladders, generators, and garage storage, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he's been waiting for. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 4th through 24th, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is set for summertime temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in July?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on the Fourth of July. Sign up for free to build a tiny go-kart toy. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
