Community involvement is important to us at The Home Depot. In an effort to fill the trades gap, The Home Depot Foundation has pledged to invest $50 million in training through our Path to Pro program. We are committed to educating people to pursue a career path as tradespeople and in the home improvement industry.
It's our pleasure to provide the guidance you need — every step of the way. We look forward to seeing you soon. You can also browse our local ad before you visit to find great in-store deals.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.
What kinds of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
