What is Express Delivery, and is my store eligible?
Select items arrive at top speed with Express Delivery, a same-day service that delivers directly from your store to your door. Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on item size, driver availability, and local stock. See if you can get Express Delivery when you set your local store in The Home Depot app or online. Qualifying products will feature an Express Delivery tag in your cart and during checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, aerosols, and bulk orders). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Be certain your home is set for summertime temperatures by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 10/3/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a witch candy box! Your little builder can put together their very own container for Halloween candy or other treasures.
Does The Home Depot Oakland offer Curbside Pickup?
No, the Oakland Home Depot does not offer Curbside Pickup. Please check the next closest Home Depot to see if it's available there. You could also shop our endless aisles online and have eligible products delivered right to your doorstep!
