Come see us for your dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with cleaning wipes and other cleaning products. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, countertop microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Make certain your home is set for summertime temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If water gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Building this wooden spaceship toy is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last.
