Is outdoor power equipment on sale for Spring Black Friday 2026?
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your patio furniture and grill so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so don't miss it.
What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that might let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter weather. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
