How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
