Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a tool sale for Father's Day?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so it's time to get shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tools, tool storage, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like riding lawn mowers, generators, and garage storage, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 4–24, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summer temperatures by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on Independence Day. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
