What do I need for my dorm?
Come see us for your dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with cleaning wipes and other cleaning products. Make your room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Bring spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Power strips and extension cords let you place table lamps, microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your Oxon Hill Home Depot.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Make certain your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
