Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so it's time to get shopping. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got bargains on what you need for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 22nd through August 18th, 2026, and make this the year you clean out the shed, garage, and basement.

Does the Aspen Hill Home Depot have back-to-school products for classrooms?

When you've gotten your classroom decorations at the educator store and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like disinfecting wipes to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Writing utensils and Command hooks? Check. Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. Find cleaning supplies, storage containers to keep it all organized, and more tissues and paper towels than you could possibly need — because you'll end up using them all. We support our educators, so stop by to fill in the classroom supply gaps.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If water gets in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the August Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 8/1/2026, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized rocket game! Your little builder can assemble their very own rocket game craft — like the real thing but kid-sized. The best part is launching the rocket, so leave some time to send your rocketship into space!

Does the Aspen Hill Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. Barbecue grill
I ordered this 2 weeks ago 06/01 and it’s still not here yet, they said will be available to pick on the 06/09, it’s not not yet available!

      Helpful and friendly staff
I am always happy leaving Home Depot in Aspen Hill; whether it’s for the garden center or any other need, the staff is helpful and friendly.

        Water The Plants!
Very sad selection of dry and dying plants starving for water. Not a single employee with a hose at this location last Sunday.

            Convenient but staff knows little
The location here's convenient , but the staff is really poorly trained. Every time I go, if there's a question, don't bother asking the staff. Previously they gave us wrong answers when it came to flooring. Recently , I had to speak to 5 staff before getting answer a basic question about a ryobi power tool they sell in store. The prices keep going up, but investment in staff is nil. Better off at ACE for real service.

              No one cared
The staff in this store are terrible. Frankly clean house and start over. If you can’t be bothered to help someone find what they are looking for and then also “happily do it” you have no business working for Home Depot or any business that involves customer service. It was clear the entire store operates this way.

                  Hail the new Home Depot!
We are fixing up our house to sell and have had many occasions the past month to visit Home Depot for materials: about $5000 worth. And at every turn, HD people have been helpful and friendly way beyond the call. We ordered $2000 worth of flooring; they delivered it free - and on time. Turns out we ordered the wrong type, had to order $3000 worth of a different type. They delivered that, returned the other day, both free. And a refund was issued in a few days. Their people in the aisles seem to go way out of their way now to help; I don’t remember them so helpful in the past. Whatever is going on, it’s working. We have been hugely impressed. Keep it up, folks! 🤩

                    Friendly and always says hello!
Alot of the times, there is no employee to be found.in certain areas. There are a couple of long time Home Depot employees that work the contractor checkout registers, and they are always very friendly and helpful. I always try and go to their registers when I know they are there working. I will also say there is man who works in the nuts/bolts, nails/screws isle that is very friendly and helpful.
