Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale?

Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From tool chests to storage bins, we've got bargains on what you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22–August 18, and make this the summer you clean out the basement and the garage.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 8/1/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a pint-sized rocket game! Your little builder can put together their very own rocket game craft — like the real thing but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to race your rocket into space with others!

Worst store ever...completely downhill since last visit 3 years ago.
No tractor batteries in stock, unhelpful staff, said he might quit tomorrow

this store is a mess and it needs an entire redo
it's impossible to get down the aisles because they leave carts piled with material to be loaded on the shelves and they never complete it. the employees are useless some of them don't even speak English. forced to go here because I live nearby otherwise I would not.

Avoid this Home Depot for Anything Beyond Basics
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this store truly earned it. I ordered a patio set online and ended up at Hyannis for a missing part, only to find the staff had no idea what I was talking about. No part. No one even knew the person I was referred to. Managers and employees seemed completely disconnected from deliveries, customer notes, or online orders. I spent hours on chat, was bounced between departments, and then told to drive to the store where staff were ill-prepared and uninformed. Basic communication between online and in-store teams is clearly nonexistent. It’s as if they work in completely separate universes. If you’re just grabbing tools or paint, you’ll probably be fine. But anything that requires coordination with delivery or support, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

            Debra, Appliance Dept is A+!!!!!
I telephoned Home Depot in Hyannis, Ma. with questions on a Frigidaire Over the Range Microwave. Luckily, for me Debra, in Appliances answered my call. She exceeded all of my expectations wtih her friendliness, knowledge & patience with all of my concerns regarding the dimensions etc... She even went as far to explain the 1-3 day review period after delivery & the 3-365 day warranty period thereafter along with Teleph#'s to call! I ordered the microwave & it was delivered right on time! Home Depot remains my Go-To for all of my home improvements & I never hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

                Curbside pick-up is a Joke
Once again because an item was too heavy I had to use curbside pick-up. I had to drive around waiting for a numbered spot to open up. Once I got into the spot I noticed that all the other cars taking up spots were missing their occupants. These spaces should not be used unless you’re using curbside pick-up. It seems everyone uses them to get a close-up spot to the store. Very frustrating. This has happened anytime I have tried to use this service.

If you need a new appliance, ask for Bob in that department. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
