Does The Home Depot have a storage sale?
Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From tool chests to storage bins, we've got bargains on what you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22–August 18, and make this the summer you clean out the basement and the garage.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Be certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
What will the next free Kids Workshop be?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 8/1/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a pint-sized rocket game! Your little builder can put together their very own rocket game craft — like the real thing but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to race your rocket into space with others!
