Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water seep in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water freezes in the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
