Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is patio furniture on sale for Memorial Day?

Prepare to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you want to save on: grills, patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to snag unbelievable deals at our sale that runs May 14–27, 2026, in person at your local store or with our mobile app.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on 6/6/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a goalie game! Your little builder can put together their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
