Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage bins and shelves?

Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From garage storage bundles to workbenches, we've got bargains on what you want for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd through August 18th, 2026, and make this the year you organize the garage and basement.

Does the Maplewood store sell back-to-school supplies?

If you're still looking for back-to-school items, we've got everything you'll need to kick off the school year. Find unique backpacks to make you stand out from the crowd and basics like writing utensils, office supplies, and tape. Stop by your local store to finish checking off your back-to-school shopping list today.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is ready for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on 8/1/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a pint-sized rocket game! Your little builder can put together their very own rocket game craft — like a real rocketship but kid-sized. The best part is imagining your rocket blasting off into space, so join your new friends to launch a fleet of rocketships!

    Excellent staff support
Aaron in lumber helped me get all the building material needed to build a shed. He spent a lot of time helping me select, load and guide me along. Kris in hardware helped me select some great tools and the right materials. Grateful for all their help, the project turned out great! 👍

      My latest Kitchen project!
There is always someone on staff to give expert advice. I search out my favorite in the Kitchen area, Amy, whenever I have a project. I just completed replacing my kitchen countertops and am so happy with the results! Thanks, Amy, for your help!

        Poor in store customer service
I came in to make a large purchase and was told to go to cutomer service for check out, two women at the desk were talking stories with another employee avoiding helping customers. They made eye contact but was not helpful in getting the sale closed. I ended up leaving the store and calling the store manager. Taylor was very helpful and apologized and closed the sale. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning to this store.

              Pro Center
Been waiting on a company called Crew2 which was arranged through Home Depot Pro Center to come and tell me about a patio door. Paid for inspection - end of week 2 - received an email that said someone would reach out via phone? Nope - week 2 and waiting.

                Store needs employees
If you like helping fellow shoppers while you look around Home Depot for your project needs, then you will like this place. You won’t find an employee to help you but you can always ask another shopper for help. Good luck!

                  Not enough people
There was barely one employee per department when I visited, how can a customer be helped, if you cannot find the employees?

                    Excellent Customer Service
I visited the Maplewood store several times this week and had a great experience each time. Chuleen at the Pro Desk was welcoming upon entry. Scott and Hellblu quickly assisted with loading my OSB boards. Linda, Kris and Ron provided helpful guidance on the products I needed for my project. Overall, excellent service and teamwork from the Pro Desk team—I’ll definitely be back.
