Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on shelves and storage bins?

Find Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the basement, garage, or shed. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions from your favorite brands. Stow tools out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then arrange them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these deals in-store and online from 6/22/26–8/18/26.

Does the Grand Rapids store sell back-to-school supplies?

If you're still looking for back-to-school items, we've got everything you'll need to start the school year right. Find unique backpacks to make you stand out from the crowd and basics like office supplies, tape, and writing utensils. Stop by your local store to finish checking off your back-to-school shopping list today.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing faulty parts of your home. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

        Customer service non existent!!!!!
Never to return!! Unfair pricing! Different prices for different stores, not willing to work with a customer. I think the owner or owners of the company should try calling the automated phone line and ask for customer service. I tried 14 times no answer ever.! It took over a week and many phone calls just to get somebody to order the countertop that Home Depot screwed up! Customer service is terrible!!!!! too many other things to complain about I will not be a customer anymore! I will be canceling my pro account in my private account. I will also tell everybody I know of the bad experience! If I stop shopping there and I get a few other people to stop shopping there you will lose more than the $300 that your company screwed up on my countertops and and have to buy again!

One great go to employee helps a lot
When we have to shop at Home Depot in Grand Rapids MN we always say hi to a senior employee Dave M in the Electrical Department. He seems to know electrical very well, but he’s also a resource when needing other merchandise.

Almost never greeted and asked what I needed
This store management didn’t have a clue to the quality of employee they chose to falsely accuse and fire.
