What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Why should I get a generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
