Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

Prepare for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washers and refrigerators, outdoor living accessories like grills, outdoor cooking supplies, and patio furniture, plus tools for all your home improvement projects. Save up to 40% off select online bath items and select appliances. Check it out online or in-store between May 14th and 27th.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofs or shingles for damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
