Has COVID-19 impacted The Home Depot store hours?
We're temporarily adjusting store hours to better serve customers and communities in response to COVID-19. Please check your local store for the most current operating hours.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

We needed a refrigerator to replace our failed unit. We had some specific requirements: size, side by side, white. It took some time for the Home Depot associate to find the exact fit because of the low stock situation, but Mr Curp kept at it until the unit we wanted was found. Everyone should have this kind of shopping experience.

If you are at all concerned with your health during this pandemic, I suggest you avoid this store. There are social distancing marks on the floor by the registers and a one-way in and out, but fully half the employees are not wearing masks, including the manager. The same for the customers, and there is no policy for masked customers in place. Some of the employees are friendly, helpful, and competent, but not all of them. This store needs to take a whole lot more precautions.

Staff is very friendly need some training in ringing out appliances in a timely manner. Great store and new people a trying to figure it out so you still get 5 stars. Katie does work in circles around people she needs a raise. 2 hours to buy a washer and dryer y’all need to train ya peeps! It is not the new persons fault it is upper managements fault. Not the employees fault they didn’t get trained properly. Just throw them in front of a bus. I shoulda got my gear for free for the inconvenience but nothing is free. Katie answering the phone fixing all the issues everyone around her are just standing there mouth breathing one young man was doing his best and helping. If these were not tough times with the lies flying around about invisible Santa Clause cooties flying around I might give someone a hard time. Weird how only major corporations are deemed essential. I figure it the other way around. Anyhow the store would be great if we weren’t being lied to sending the world into unnecessary panic. US Constitution research it.
