Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is patio furniture on sale for Memorial Day?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through May 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Shop incredible deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
