Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on garage storage?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got bargains on what you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from June 22–August 18, and make this the summer you sort out the basement, garage, and shed.

Is there a sale for the 4th of July?

Our 4th of July Sale, which includes savings on major appliances such as washers and dryers, can help you get a fresh start on cleaning. It runs from June 25th through July 8th, 2026. We've got big sales on fridges and dishwashers, as well as tools, up to 25% off select grills, and outdoor power equipment, too. Enjoy better living indoors by shopping for smart home, lighting, air conditioning, storage and organization, and more. Stop by the store today, or shop online at your convenience.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer weather by repairing faulty components of your home. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the July Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on July 4th. Sign up for free to build a tiny toy go-kart. You provide the creativity and we provide the materials. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
