What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Make certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Do I need a generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
