What college dorm essentials should I get?
Come see us for your college dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with cleaning wipes and other cleaning products. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, countertop microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Make certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. If water gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine metal roofing or roof shingles for damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Constructing a useful organizer is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 9/5/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
