Why is there cold air coming in around the door?
If you have cold air seeping in under the door, check your door sweep, the rubber piece on the door bottom, for cracks and missing pieces. Replace it if it's torn. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.

What are good wintertime DIY projects?
In colder climates, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, a chilly day that's above freezing might be a good time to rake leaves or give the mulch in the garden a stir. A weekend organizing and cleaning the basement or garage will pay off when spring comes. If your tools and gardening supplies are all set, tackle cleaning the rest of the house. Get out the cleaning supplies and cleaning tools, then give everything a good scrub.

How can chainsaws help with yard and tree cleanup?
If you've got spare wood and extra wooden pallets drying out, chop them up with a chainsaw in the springtime so you can dispose of them or store them properly. Spring is a good time to organize the pile of firewood and trim any broken tree branches too. Before firing up your Milwaukee chainsaw, ensure that the chain isn't rusted or dull and that it's been oiled. Then, while wearing the proper safety gear, use your gas or electric chainsaw to cut the wood. Make pieces the same size for easier storage.

    Management needs to be checked
I was turned down when I asked if this place would price match my febreeze air fresheners store manager quickly told me “no, only price match Lowes”. Before walking completely out, I looked on the Home Depot website about the real price match rule and it turned out I was correct, it stated “Any retail store.” I walked back in politely showed the Home Depot web info and the manager Vincia rolled her eyes and rudely “said just give him the price match then.” This is bad and lazy customer service.

      Gatana Rocks!
I walked in the store as a very dissatisfied Home Depot customer. I had had horrible shopping experiences at two other Home Depots earlier in the day. I walked in to the Tacoma store ( 4701) expecting the same frustrating experience. Boy was I wrong! Gatana turned my attitude around with her high level of good humor and expert customer service! Thank you Gatana!

        Helpful Associates & Clean Store!
Tacoma Home Depot had everything that I needed and it was exactly where I expected to find it. I left with the product that I was looking for (both were in stock) and I was able to find with ease. All associates were helpful, polite, and attentive.

Horrible Customer Service and Cheap Products
We purchased 2 doors and installation service in April and are still waiting for this nightmare experience to be over. The first installation was scheduled in June and upon delivery the patio door was cracked and had to be returned. For weeks I called to get an update and was left on hold, hung up on, transferred to multiple departments, and promised a call-back. Horrible customer service from staff and management! Then I receive an email the ordered was cancelled. I finally speak to a manager and was told the order was "accidentally cancelled" and had to be reordered. The installation was finally scheduled for last week and during installation the screen door was found to be ripped and pieces are missing. The only positive experience from this has been the installation service.
