Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are washing machines on sale for Father's Day at Home Depot?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th to June 24th, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in July?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the Fourth of July. Sign up for free to build a tiny go-kart toy. We provide the materials and you bring the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
