Does The Home Depot have good deals for Memorial Day?
It's time for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on fridges and washers, outdoor living accessories like patio furniture, grills, and outdoor cooking supplies, plus outdoor power equipment to keep your lawn and landscaping beautiful. Save up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Check it out in-store or online from May 14–27, 2026.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Be confident your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
When is the next free Kids Workshop?
Stop by for the Kids Workshop on 6/6/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a goalie game! Your little builder can put together their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
