What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for summer temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble.
Do you offer moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
