Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for Memorial Day?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27, 2026! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Save big by shopping the deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on June 6, 2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
