Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot?

Prepare for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washing machines and refrigerators, outdoor living accessories like outdoor cooking supplies, patio furniture, and grills, plus outdoor power equipment to keep your landscaping and lawn pristine. Save up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Check it out online or in-store from May 14th through May 27th.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6th. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized soccer game. You provide the creativity and we provide the materials. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
