Where can I buy back-to-school supplies for my dorm?
We've got your dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with cleaning wipes and other cleaning products. Make your room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Bring spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Power strips and extension cords let you place table lamps, microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your Southchase Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Be confident your home is set for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Why should I get a generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?
Drop by our Kids Workshop on 8/1/2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a wooden rocket game! Your little builder can assemble their very own rocket game craft — like a real rocketship but kid-sized. The best part is imagining your rocket blasting off into space, so join your new friends to launch a fleet of rocketships!
