Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's Express Delivery?

Select supplies arrive at top speed with Express Delivery, a same-day service that delivers straight from your store to your door. Be sure to place your order by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Eligibility depends on driver availability, item size, and local stock. See if you can get Express Delivery when you set your local store online or in The Home Depot app. Qualifying products will feature an Express Delivery tag in your cart and at checkout (excludes aerosols, bulk orders, and custom mixed paint). Express Delivery orders may be subject to additional delivery charges.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 10/3/2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized witch candy box. Assembling this organizer is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last.
