The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so start shopping now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tool storage, tools, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like riding lawn mowers, garage storage, and generators, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he's been waiting for. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 4–24, 2026, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be certain your home is equipped for summer temps by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofing or shingles for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this go-kart toy. Constructing a kid-sized wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on the 4th of July, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
