Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot?

We've got savings on tools, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Shop incredible deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature shifts by replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the June Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
