Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Remember to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Do I need a generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
