Be certain your home is ready for cooler autumn weather by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
