Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on shelves and storage bins?

Explore our Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the shed or garage. Save up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions and 20% off select storage solutions. Keep tools and treasures out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then arrange them on new garage shelves. Catch these bargains in-store and online from 6/22–8/18.

Do you have dorm supplies?

We have all your college dorm essentials. Use storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies to sanitize the space. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Extension cords and power strips let you place floor lamps, microwaves, and mini refrigerators where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag or underbed storage yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your Teays Valley Home Depot.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is set for summer temperatures by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This cute kids' project is happening on 8/1/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.

Good store
I wanted to buy some LifeProof flooring, but store did not carry it but I could order for delivery. It was delivered by UPS and several boxes were damaged. One total box had all damages. Driver for UPS made some comment that he hauled it around in his truck all day and he was not surprised that not more of it was damaged. He didn’t have us sign any delivery report. I am taking the damaged box to the store for a refund.

                  Prepare to hunt for staff
Nearly everything is locked forcing you to find staff to unlock a purchase. I waste half my time tracking down help. I can understand high priced equipment like tools but not a $15 screw driver.
