Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, organizing your home with the perfect storage, and setting up new appliances indoors. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature changes by replacing faulty components of your home. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you could be in for a headache.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2nd. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all sorts of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
