The store Associates are very pleasant and willing to help you!

The store was well stocked in the plumbing isle that we were concerned with. We were replacing a Delta single handle shower unit from 35 years ago with a new Delta unit. The design had changed from soldered fittings to threaded so we needed to modify our installation. The associate that assisted us was extremely helpful , patient , and friendly! He should be commended for GREAT SERVICE! Using the SHARK-BITE fittings really simplified the conversion process.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE, AND CONTINUE TO BE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF SERVICE(S) PROVIDED AT YOUR AMSTERDAM, NY STORE. WE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED USING ANOTHER STORE BASED ON PREVIOUS POOR EXPERIENCES WITH HOME DEPOT IN GENERAL. AFTER A FEW ENCOUNTERS IN THE KITCHEN DESIGN DEPARTMENT, ALONG WITH HOME DEPOT'S 0% FINANCING WE DECIDED TO "TAKE A CHANCE!" TURNS OUT THIS WAS A GREAT DECISION AS WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! THIS SHOPPING TRIP WAS AN EXTENSIVE AND COSTLY ENDEAVOR FOR US. IT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL WITH ASSOCIATES ASSISTANCE COORDINATING MULTIPLE DEPARTMENT PURCHASES, SPECIAL ORDERS, ETC. ALL WERE VERY ACCOMODATING, HELPING TO MAKE OUR EXPERIENCE MUCH LESS STRESSFUL. HONESTLY, WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED WITH THIS SHOPPING TRIP, THE ATTENTIVE FOLLOW-UP CONTACTS, AND TODAY, OUR DELIVERIES. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANK YOU!

I was very confused with my home plumbing repair and went to several hardware stores purchasing parts that ended up getting returned. On this visit, a store associate, Burke, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After his assistance, it became my last trip to home depot on this particular project. Successful completion!

Overall; I am an EXTREMELY satisfied customer; everything about the store was a great experience (AS ALWAYS). The Homedepo (AMSTERDAM) is my GO TO store; I have been to MANY other local Homedepo's and I am NEVER as satisfied as I am with the Amsterdam locale. Thank you SO very much for your CLEAN and ORGANIZED store; as well as your AMAZING employees... A VERY special thank you to Diane the cashier DKS4414 for her cheerful, helpful, and amazing disposition during my time there... Words can't express how OVERLY satisfied I am with HD-Amsterdam... Generally speaking, when I need the assistance of an Associate at HD, they are no where to be found. This time, when I knew what I wanted and had a pretty good idea where I'd find it, Associates were abundant and went out of their way to offer help. Naturally. Must be one of Murphy's Laws. While prices have inexorably increased, I prefer HD to the other big box home improvement store, who shall not be named, and fervently wish HD had a presence in my permanent home county of Rutherford, in North Carolina. HD, you're missing the boat! HD should be proud of its Amsterdam, N.Y. location!

I was very happy with the help I received from Dawn at Customer Service and then Feranando. He came right over and helped to load a shelving unit onto a cart and then took the time to wait for me to checkout and then brought the item out to my car and loaded it in for me.... saving my back. The store is well organized and easy to navigate and has some really good deals.

My husband and I were looking for a specific entry door for the house we are building. After going to two other, (competitors) stores, we decided to look at Home Depot. We were so happy to not have to settle for another style. It definitely made our day! I now will make Home Depot my "go to" home improvement store. Thank you.

The associates in the carpet area were outstanding. They went above and beyond to help us pick the perfect carpet for our home. I am extremely impressed with their helpfulness and knowledge of the products. A++++

The store was clean and tidy. The associates were both helpful and knowledgable. We purchase 99% of all our home improvement supplies at Home Depot and are very pleased with the quality and reliability of the products we use. We have had on more than one occassion have a very helpful cashier to check out!

The sales associates, Fernando and RJ, went out of their way to provide help and assistance.

We purchased a fridge that kept shutting off, we called the manufacturer and were told it would be about five days before they could send a repair person. Really, five days, what do we do with all the food for five days? We called Home Depot, told them the situation, and they exchanged the fridge for a new one, all done in less than three hours, food saved! Thank you Ron and all at Amsterdam Home Depot, that's how you build customer loyalty!

I come here often to get parts I need for my particular brand of vacuum cleaner, which they don't sell at other stores. Lots of fun things to buy here, and I can always find what I need for every project.

Store is beautifully kept in order. Great attitudes at checkout. I had the privilege of visiting twice today and the same cashier, Crystal with a smile on her face and a super attitude. Wonderful experience THANK YOU!

Even though I live in Schenectady, I like shopping at Home Depot in Amsterdam. Find everything I want and enjoy my shopping experience.

When designing and need professional assistance in your landscaping project, ask for Dave in the Garden department. Dave knows his product and will assist you in a very professional maner. Dave takes his time and explains, in detail, all your options. And, if his store doesn't have it , he will call everywhere to find and get it for you. Dave and the complete staff were great. Store associates were readily available and were willing to go above and beyond answering our questions, thus allowing us to purchase the items we needed/wanted.

I'm neither satisfied or dissatisfied with this store. I went looking for some plants and the selection wasn't that great and the prices were significantly higher than Lowes, and Lowes offers more coupons. I usually prefer other stores over Home Depot.

The items I needed were easy to find. Several associates asked me if I needed help, as I walked through the store.
