the store is neat, well labeled, everything is easy to find, managers are hands-on friendly and accommodating.

of all the stores we inquired related to out home improvements we want done, this is the only store that was consistently helpful and accommodating whether you will buy the same day or not! that says a lot to us. the associates and straight forward and knowledgeable.

We are extremely happy with the service we have received at Home Depot. Associates are always helpful and willing to go beyond the extra mile to help with our concerns.

Two reasons I shop at this Home Depot! The first one is Geri. If you have not met this girl then you are missing out! She has an amazing smile and a customer service priority attitude! She makes every experience with her a positive one! The other reason is Bobbi. Don't judge Bobbi on the outside, or you will be missing out on opportunity to get help from one of the best in the business! Bobbi is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to handyman projects and has been a huge help in all my projects around my home!

Store employees are helpful to tell you where to find things when it isn't covered by the large category labels.

I was greeted at the door by a store employee and given immediate assistance as to where to find the item I was looking for. And then when I had questions a knowledgeable young man walked me through all my options - this is in STARK CONTRAST to other home improvement stores (whose names I will not mention) where, search as you might - you can never find anyone to assist you, These guys knocked this one out of the park!!!!

We began searching for a new flooring after our basement got flooded. We had originally had a different company come in to measure and they gave us a free quote. Vinyl plank flooring was our first choice cause we NEVER want to deal with ripping out carpet and that heavy, soggy under pad again. The quote came in higher than we anticipated so we got a quote with carpet instead. Their quote for that was not much better than the first quote unfortunately. They were charging for installation, delivery, and moving of our furniture. I decided to reach out to our local Ankeny Home Depot to see what their quote would be with carpet as we had decided against the vinyl. I met Peyton and he was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient and understanding. He went over the different choices and gave me his opinion when I asked and helped me to decide which carpet and pad to use for our basement. I felt so relieved that he was so helpful and appreciated the time he spent to go over any questions or concerns I had during the process. I HIGHLY recommend Ankeny Home Depot for all your flooring needs. Looking forward to enjoying lots of family time in a nice, comfortable, carpeted basement! Thanks Peyton!! :)

Great Store. I do many purchases via online ordering and pickups at this store location. Their employees are very efficient in finding my items. Quite often Eddy is at the customer service desk, and is stellar in his performance to assist to process my pickup items on to me.

I am a vet! I have a 10% discount which I than you very much for, but I was ask if I were military when I was checking out I thought that when I used my Home Depot credit card it was an automatic discount. I would not think that it was because I was wearing my Navy hat that I received the discount . Other than that I am well satisfied with shopping at your store.

Having just moved to central Iowa from small town in NW Iowa, I had concerns in receiving the small town personalized assistance I had become accustomed to. I needed to purchase a washer and dryer, lawn mower. The personnel helping me with these purchases were very knowledgeable and were able to field all the questions I threw at them. The brand selection is great in this store.

Men and women working at Ankeny HD are helpful and courteous. This is not a typical big box store. These people are there to serve customers.
