Looking for Halloween classics like skeletons or witches? We've got them. Want Dead Water pirate animatronics, creatures of the Wicked Woods, grim reapers, or an app-controlled Skelly instead? We have those, too. Add towering giant creatures to put a finishing touch on your horrifying landscape. Visit your local Ankeny Home Depot or shop online for all your Halloween animatronic needs.

Be confident your home is ready for fall temperatures by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that might let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this witch candy box. This cute kids' project is happening on October 3rd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
